When you get a full refund
If we can't run a check you picked for the address you sent (for example, the address can't be found on the map, or a source is down), we refund that report in full.
Before you send, the order form tells you which of your picks aren't in our reports for your town yet. If one of your picks comes back Not published and the form didn't tell you, we refund that report in full too.
For either, reply to your report email, or write to , and tell us which check it was.
If the report doesn't reach you within 24 hours of your payment, write to us and we'll either send it straight away or refund it, whichever you prefer.
What counts as a result
Every report lists all 55 checks. Some lines read Nothing on record (the source shows nothing for this address) or Not published (no open record exists that we may use, and the line says where to look it up). Those are results of the check, not failures, so on their own they aren't a reason for a refund, apart from the case above.
A report shows what public records say on the day we checked them. It isn't legal, financial, insurance or inspection advice, and records can be out of date or incomplete.
3- and 10-report packs
Each report in a pack covers one home. You can send the addresses with your order or later, by replying to your report email, any time within 12 months of payment. We take addresses for a pack only from the email address that paid for it.
The refund promises above apply to each report in a pack: if one applies to one of the homes, we refund that report's share of the price.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through our payment processor, Stripe. Most banks show them within 5 to 10 business days.
We never refund by e-transfer, gift card or any other way, and we never ask for card details by email. If someone claiming to be OfferDue asks you to, it isn't us: write to .
Paid twice for the same order by mistake? Tell us and we'll refund the extra payment.
Who you're dealing with
