What the record shows

None of the Province's Protected Countryside sheets names Mississauga, and neither do the Oak Ridges Moraine's sectional maps. The Greenbelt reaches the city as Urban River Valley areas, added in 2017: the Province's map series has sheets for the Credit River in Brampton and Mississauga and in Mississauga alone, and for Etobicoke Creek in Brampton, Mississauga and Toronto. The Province notes that in Urban River Valley areas the Greenbelt Plan's policies apply only to publicly owned land.

So a result from the provincial layer says whether an address falls inside the mapped Greenbelt Area, and which designation. For a Mississauga home near the Credit River or Etobicoke Creek, the map, not the street name, is the record.

What OfferDue covers in Mississauga

The Greenbelt, Moraine and Escarpment check runs for any Ontario address, in the free check and in the full report, from the Province's layers, and names the designation where one applies. It reads the mapped boundary; it doesn't say which parcels in a river valley are publicly owned.
