What the record shows

For 2026 the County lists a residential County rate of 1.505404% and an education rate of 0.153000%, set by the Province, a total of 1.658404%. The table has no other municipal rate. The bill multiplies the home's assessed value from MPAC by that rate.

An asking price is not an assessed value, and a rate is not a bill. The actual bill for a home, and any amount owing on it, sit with its current owner and the County.
