What the record shows
Two sets of provincial maps cover Richmond Hill. The Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan's sectional Map 3 covers Aurora, Newmarket, Richmond Hill and Vaughan and shows the plan's designations, from Natural Core and Natural Linkage Areas to Countryside and Settlement Areas; under the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Act, 2001, planning decisions there must conform with the plan. The Greenbelt map series names Richmond Hill on a Protected Countryside sheet shared with Markham and Whitchurch-Stouffville, and on Urban River Valley sheets for the Rouge and Don rivers, where the Greenbelt Plan's policies apply only to publicly owned land. The Greenbelt Plan's Schedule 1 counts the Oak Ridges Moraine Area as part of the Greenbelt Area.
Land in Richmond Hill east of Leslie Street, north of Elgin Mills Road East and west of Highway 404 was removed from the Protected Countryside in 2022; the Province's page says all the 2022 removals were returned to the Greenbelt by the changes to the Greenbelt Act, 2005 on 6 December 2023. A result from the provincial layers says whether an address falls inside a mapped area and which designation; it is a planning boundary, not a statement about what a particular lot may be used for.

What OfferDue covers in Richmond Hill
The Greenbelt, Moraine and Escarpment check runs for any Ontario address, in the free check and in the full report, from the Province's layers, and names the designation where one applies. It reads the mapped boundaries; it doesn't say which parcels in a river valley are publicly owned.
