What the record shows
The Township's Official Plan says about 98% of the Township is the subject of geographically specific provincial plans: the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan, the Greenbelt Plan and the Lake Simcoe Protection Plan. Almost 70% of its land area is under the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan, and nearly all of the rest is the Greenbelt Plan's Protected Countryside. The Plan also says a significant portion of the Holland Marsh is in King, a Specialty Crop Area that the Greenbelt Plan maps on its Schedule 3. On the Province's maps, the moraine plan's sectional Map 2 is titled for the Township of King, boundary sheets 2 to 6 list it, and Protected Countryside sheets 20 to 24 name it.
The Township's zoning page says By-law 2005-23 also applies to lands within the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan Area and the Greenbelt Plan Area, and its Countryside Zoning By-law 2022-053 allows no additional residential unit in the moraine's Natural Core and Linkage and Feature Protection zones and one, inside the house, in its Countryside zone. A result from the provincial layers says whether an address falls inside a mapped area and which designation; it is a planning boundary, not a statement about what a particular lot may be used for.

What OfferDue covers in King
The Greenbelt, Moraine and Escarpment check runs for any Ontario address, in the free check and in the full report, from the Province's layers, and names the designation where one applies. It reads the mapped boundaries; it is not a reading of the Township's Official Plan or zoning for a lot.
