What the record shows
The Province's Protected Countryside boundary sheets 25, 26, 30, 31, 36 and 37 each list the Town of Milton among their municipalities, and Urban River Valley sheet 42 covers Sixteen Mile Creek in the town; the Province says the Greenbelt Plan's policies apply only to publicly owned lands in the Urban River Valley areas. The Niagara Escarpment Plan is part of the Greenbelt too: its Map 3 covers Halton Region, and the plan's list of amendments names properties in the Town of Milton. The Niagara Escarpment Commission says landowners in its Area of Development Control need a Niagara Escarpment Development Permit for certain development, that many common projects are exempt, and that its property map shows whether a lot is in that area.
The Town's own rules follow the same lines: its additional residential unit page sets different permissions for lots within the Niagara Escarpment Plan Area and the Greenbelt Protected Countryside, and none in the Greenbelt Natural Heritage System. A result from the provincial layers says whether an address falls inside a mapped area and which designation; it is a planning boundary, not a statement about what a particular lot may be used for.

What OfferDue covers in Milton
The Greenbelt, Moraine and Escarpment check runs for any Ontario address, in the free check and in the full report, from the Province's layers, and names the designation where one applies. It reads the mapped boundaries; it is not a reading of the Town's Official Plan or zoning for a lot.
