What the record shows
None of the Province's Protected Countryside or Urban River Valley sheets names Newmarket. The Oak Ridges Moraine maps do: the moraine plan's sectional Map 3 is titled for the Towns of Aurora and Newmarket and the Cities of Richmond Hill and Vaughan, and boundary sheet 5 lists Newmarket among its municipalities. The Town's Official Plan says the lands subject to the Oak Ridges Moraine Act are still governed by Official Plan Amendment 28 and the 1996 Official Plan, and its schedules label those lands "Oak Ridges Moraine". The Greenbelt Plan's Schedule 1 counts the Oak Ridges Moraine Area as part of the Greenbelt Area.
The Official Plan also describes the Holland River as a connection to the Greenbelt Plan's Natural System and says development in or next to the Holland River valley follows policy 3.2.5 of the Greenbelt Plan. A result from the provincial layers says whether an address falls inside a mapped area and which designation; it is a planning boundary, not a statement about what a particular lot may be used for.

What OfferDue covers in Newmarket
The Greenbelt, Moraine and Escarpment check runs for any Ontario address, in the free check and in the full report, from the Province's layers, and names the designation where one applies. It reads the mapped boundaries; the Town's Official Plan schedules are the place to read the local designation.
