What the record shows

The Province's Urban River Valley sheets 43 and 44 cover Sixteen Mile Creek in the Town of Oakville, sheet 45 Fourteen Mile Creek and sheet 46 Bronte Creek and Fourteen Mile Creek; a 2022 addition (sheet 3) extends the Fourteen Mile Creek area, and a separate map shows the Glenorchy Lands, added as an Urban River Valley area in 2013. The Province says the Greenbelt Plan's policies apply only to publicly owned lands in the Urban River Valley areas.

Protected Countryside boundary sheet 26 lists Oakville with Burlington, Halton Hills and Milton. A result from the provincial layers says whether an address falls inside a mapped area and which designation; it is a planning boundary, not a statement about what a particular lot may be used for.

What OfferDue covers in Oakville

The Greenbelt, Moraine and Escarpment check runs for any Ontario address, in the free check and in the full report, from the Province's layers, and names the designation where one applies. It reads the mapped boundaries; it is not a reading of the Town's Official Plan or zoning for a lot.
