What the record shows
For 2026 Schedule B lists a residential rate of 0.902191% for the Town, 0.571906% for the County of Essex and 0.153% for education, set by the Province, a total of 1.627097%. The bill multiplies the home's assessed value from MPAC by that rate. Schedule C adds charges collected on the tax roll, among them the County's Green Bin user fee, $154.06 for each household in 2026.
An asking price is not an assessed value, and a rate is not a bill. The actual bill for a home, and any amount owing on it, sit with its current owner and the Town.
