What the record is
A permit parking area means residents can buy a permit to park on the street overnight where it would otherwise be limited. The maintenance class decides the order in which streets are plowed and salted after a storm.
In Toronto the report line names the permit parking area, if any. In Ottawa it gives the street's winter maintenance class and any paid parking nearby. Other cities keep these rules on their websites.
