What the record is

The road class is set in the Official Plan or transportation master plan and decides the street's design standard, its speed limit by default, and how the City plans traffic on it. Ottawa's centrelines also carry the winter maintenance class.

The report line names the street and its class, and the nearest collector or arterial with its distance.
