Which transit stops are within walking distance?
Each transit agency publishes its stops and routes (Toronto's TTC, Ottawa's OC Transpo, Hamilton's HSR, Guelph Transit). The check finds the nearest stop and counts the stops within 400 m of the address.

What the record is
The record is the agency's own stop list, which carries the stop name and the routes that serve it. Four hundred metres is the usual planning measure of a five-minute walk.
