What the record shows
The Province says the Greenbelt takes in over 800,000 hectares and runs 325 km from the eastern end of the Oak Ridges Moraine, near Rice Lake, to the Niagara River. Schedule 1 of the Greenbelt Plan draws the Greenbelt Area, which includes the Protected Countryside, the Urban River Valleys, the Oak Ridges Moraine Area and the Niagara Escarpment Plan Area. On that map Barrie is shaded as a settlement area outside the Greenbelt, and the Greenbelt's mapped lands nearest the city lie around the south end of Lake Simcoe.
So for a Barrie address the provincial layers are expected to show no Greenbelt, Moraine or Escarpment designation. The Province notes that Schedule 1 is not a precise indicator of locations; its boundary sheets are the legal lines, and the City's own Official Plan and zoning are the records for what a lot may be used for.

What OfferDue covers in Barrie
The Greenbelt, Moraine and Escarpment check runs for any Ontario address, in the free check and in the full report, from the Province's layers, and names the designation where one applies. It reads the mapped boundaries; it is not a reading of the City's Official Plan or zoning for a lot.
