What the record shows
The Town's Official Plan says the Greenbelt Plan's planning framework includes the south-eastern portion of the Town, that its Protected Countryside lands are meant to extend agriculturally and environmentally protected land, and that planning decisions within the Greenbelt Plan Area must conform to the Greenbelt Plan. Its section on the Greenbelt Plan Area says the lands in and next to the Holland Marsh are subject to the Greenbelt Plan: the underlying land use designations still apply to these specialty crop areas, but all development and site alteration must conform to the Greenbelt Plan. Schedule D-1 maps the County and Greenbelt features.
The Province's Greenbelt maps are the boundary record: the Protected Countryside's boundary sheets, its land-use designations and an interactive map. None of the Oak Ridges Moraine plan's maps names Bradford West Gwillimbury. A result from the provincial layers says whether an address falls inside a mapped area and which designation; it is a planning boundary, not a statement about what a particular lot may be used for.
