What the record shows

For 2026 the Town's schedule lists a residential rate of 0.464570% for the Town, 0.018207% for its infrastructure rate, 0.346430% for the Region of Peel and 0.153000% for education, set by the Province, a total of 0.982207%. The bill multiplies the home's assessed value from MPAC by that rate. Farmland, managed forests and the other property classes have their own rates on the same schedule.

An asking price is not an assessed value, and a rate is not a bill. The actual bill for a home, and any amount owing on it, sit with its current owner and the Town.
