What the record shows
For 2026 the City's Schedule A lists a residential rate of 1.639489% for the City and 0.153000% for education, set by the Province, a total of 1.792489%; the schedule prints them as decimals, 0.017924893 in all. Brockville's schedule has no county column. The bill multiplies the home's assessed value from MPAC by that rate.
An asking price is not an assessed value, and a rate is not a bill. The actual bill for a home, and any amount owing on it, sit with its current owner and the City.
